What gear will my child need?

Above you fill find all gear necessary for games and practices. For games, you will be provided with a jersey. You may purchase Storm shorts, or you can wear black shorts. Shorts are $30 and can be paid via Venmo to @south_coast_storm or check made out to South Coast Lacrosse Education.

Why are tournaments/leagues so expensive?

We do our best to keep prices as low as possible. Please keep in mind that most tournaments and leagues have high entry fees we have to pay per team. In addition, we highly value our wonderful coaches and staff and want to provide them with an appropriate salary. This provides your children with the best possible experience. 

What age range do your practices accommodate?

We see all players, boys and girls, grades K-12. All of our club practices are designed to accommodate a wide range of skill levels. Private lessons are also available for all ages and skill levels. However, as our program is expanding, we only offer tournament and league options to specific age ranges (specified under "leagues") until we have enough players for all levels.

Do I have to join a league and participate in tournaments, or can I just come to practices?

You can absolutely join Storm as a practice player! This is a more affordable option that works well for many families. You can pay practice by practice, or you can purchase a 10 practice pack. 

Are there any scholarship opportunities for tournaments/leagues?

Yes! We have a limited number of partial and full scholarship opportunities based on financial need. We also have partial attendance options in which you can receive a discount if you'd only like to come to a portion of a tournament. Please email us at if you'd like to submit a scholarship request.

Where do I find the game schedule for the tournament I registered for?

Most tournament and league schedules can be found on the Tourney Machine app. You will search for the event name and select South Coast Storm as your team. Please check this regularly if you are registered for a tournament, as schedules tend to change frequently!

Do you provide refunds?

Due to the high costs we incur upfront at the beginning of a season, we cannot provide refunds. However, if you have paid for a season and can no longer attend, we can provide a credit of the amount you paid toward future Storm events.
